Our Inntravel App is free to download and will come in handy while you are away, helping you manage all your holiday details in one place, with plenty more handy features besides:

•    Your personalised day-by-day itinerary

•    Your travel tickets and vouchers

How do I download the Inntravel App?

  • 1.    Open the Google Play App on your phone
    2.    Search for the Inntravel App
    3.    Select the App and tap Install

  • 1.    From your Home screen, select the App Store
    2.    To browse the App Store, tap Apps (at the bottom)
    3.    Scroll to find the desired category (Travel)
    4.    Search for the Inntravel App
    5.    Tap GET and then tap INSTALL
    6.    If prompted, sign into the App Store to complete the install
 

General App FAQs

  • The Lead Passenger will be sent an email with login details. Once you have downloaded the App from either the Apple App Store or the Google Play Store, follow these steps:
    1.    Open the App and enter the word Inntravel in the User ID. 
    2.    Enter your password – you should have received this by email. 
    If you're the Lead Passenger on the booking, you can share this information with other people on the booking. 
  • If you are not the lead passenger, you can ask the lead passenger to share the login details with you.

  • Once you've booked your Inntravel holiday, the App combines your itinerary, hotel information, walking notes, and tickets on any compatible mobile or tablet device. It also provides useful local information, maps, and weather forecasts.
  • You’ll need to be connected to the internet initially to download the App and your holiday information but unless there are changes to your travel documents or you want the latest weather, you can use the App offline. To update the App when connected to the internet, just hit "Refresh" from the menu page.
  • Just a few minutes. It's best to do this as soon as you receive the login details. Note: if your device screen times out, the download will stop; so keep an eye on it and swipe if it's about to go to sleep. Similarly, if you leave the Inntravel App the download will stop, but it will pick up from where it was when you open the App again. The offline version of the maps will only download when you first click on the maps icon. This will take some time, but it is well worth doing when you download the Inntravel App.
  • This depends entirely on how extensive your travel plans are. A simple trip typically takes around 50MB whereas a more detailed complex plan could use 100MB. You can delete data at any time if you need to free up space on your device - simply go to the menu page and choose "Setting" to clear the maps or "Trips " if you want to remove a complete itinerary.
  • Inntravel can update your documents at any time, so you will have the new details in the App as soon as they are available. You will need to be connected to WIFI or data services, and simply refresh the App yourself by tapping on the Refresh button in the main menu.
  • You can access the Inntravel App through any compatible mobile or tablet device with your Login details. This will be sent to you via email. We recommend you download your holiday details to the devices of all passengers in the group. The Lead Passenger will also receive a printed copy of your holiday documents by post.
  • To save device memory we only provide high-resolution maps in the areas surrounding the points on the map - in between there are only low-resolution maps. If, however, you are on a WIFI or data network you can see all maps and satellite images by choosing to "View Online". 
  • We recommend you read the walking notes and carry them with you at all times. The notes include detail that is not available on the GPX track and in a small number of cases, the routes in the notes do not match the GPX track. 
  • Yes. Simply tap the share button on any document, and you'll be able to print it or send it to any email address if a printer is not handy.
  • Yes. Select the note you want to save and tap the share option at the top right (three circles). Tap Share Note and you'll then get the option to send to email, text, any social media sites you're connected to, or even print them from here. In addition, any photo you take within the Inntravel App will be saved to your device gallery.
     
  • The App is not available for Amazon Kindle. It is available on iOS and Android devices using the official Apple App Store or the Google Play Store.
  • To use the App, your device needs to be up to date.

    •    For Apple devices you will need to use iOS 11 or above: To find the software version installed on your device, go to Settings > General, then tap About
    •    For Android devices you will need to use Android 6 or above: For Sony, Samsung, and Motorola devices you can find this in Settings > About phone > Build Number. If you have a Samsung device you can also check the version of software you have by dialling *#1234#
     
  • We are aware that in some instances the itinerary in the App might not exactly reflect your final personalised itinerary. Your final travel itinerary is available for you to view in the document section of the App. This will also be mailed to you before you travel.   
  • The Inntravel App will display the following information about your holiday:

    •    Day-by-day itinerary 
    •    Hotel accommodation
    •    Flights that you have booked with Inntravel
    •    Tickets and vouchers
    •    GPX tracks for your walk and cycle routes

  • The Inntravel App is set up to share important notifications with you but you cannot respond in the App. If you would like to contact us please call or email us.
  • There's no setting for this in the App itself, but you can control this on your phone or tablet.

    •    For Apple devices, you can disable notifications, or turn them off for individual Apps. To access notifications settings, go to Settings > Notifications menu. From that list, you can configure each App's notifications or disable them entirely.
    •    For Android devices, you can disable push notifications by going to Settings > Notifications. Android allows you to turn off notifications for individual Apps or use a 'Do not Disturb' mode.
     
  • The map is designed to show key parts of your holiday. These include:

    •    Hotels
    •    Walking and Cycling routes
    •    Points of Interest
     
  • To print documents from the App, click the share icon and share it to your printer.
  • You will be sent a unique login for each holiday. To view a second holiday, go to the main navigation and click Load New. You will then need to enter your login details for that holiday.
  • No. We will post your luggage labels to you. They are in there for information just in case you need them.
